Jeddah Railway Station Parking Fee Reduced to SR1 for First 5 Hours

During the holy month of Ramadan, the Haramain High-Speed Train Project has announced a decrease in parking fees at the Jeddah Sulaymaniyah railway station from SR10 to SR1 per hour for the first five hours. The cost of the trip by train to Makkah is SR46, which includes the parking fees and remains unchanged.

The reduction in parking fees at the Jeddah Sulaymaniyah railway station during Ramadan is intended to lower the congestion at the vehicle regrouping points in designated parking areas near the entrances to Makkah.

This initiative aims to encourage more worshipers to take advantage of the train from Sulaymaniyah station, allowing Jeddah residents to reach Makkah quickly.

After arriving at the Rusaifa train station in Makkah, pilgrims can use public transportation services arranged by the Royal Commission for Makkah City and Holy Sites to reach the Grand Mosque.

The operations manager of the Haramain High-Speed Train Project, Eng. Rayan Al-Harbi, recently revealed that 84 daily trips will be available between Makkah and Jeddah. In addition, the price of economy class tickets has been reduced to SR23 per trip.

This move aims to encourage Jeddah residents to use the Sulaymaniyah station as their first choice for the services provided by the Haramain Train, thereby facilitating their Umrah pilgrimage.
