Haramain Train to Travel 84 Trips Between Jeddah to Makkah Every Day

A total of 84 journeys will be run daily between Makkah and Jeddah, according to Eng. Rayan Al-Harbi, operations manager of the Haramain High-Speed Train Project.

During the holy month of Ramadan, the administration of the Haramain High-Speed Railway has increased the number of daily railway trips between Makkah and Madinah to over 100.

A round-trip ticket in economy class will cost SR23. According to Al-Harbi, this affordable fee is intended to make it easier for Jeddah residents to carry out the Umrah pilgrimage. To achieve this, the trains will prioritize Sulaymaniyah stop when providing Haramain Train services.

To get visitors from Makkah's Rusaifa stop to the Grand Mosque, there will be transportation services available. All stations have been outfitted with the amenities needed to service Umrah pilgrims, and trips between Makkah and Madinah and the other stations will be increased during the busiest Umrah season in Ramadan.

More than 25,000 trips have been made on the railway, which links Makkah and Madinah via Jeddah and Rabigh, since it first began operating, keeping a 95 percent accuracy in the schedule of services.
