Saudi Arabia has introduced its first ever international flight route from Cairo to Arar, marking a significant step in expanding the Kingdom's air connectivity. The new service, announced by Cluster 2 Airports Co., connects Cairo International Airport with Arar Airport, aiming to increase passenger traffic between Saudi Arabia and Egypt and strengthen trade and cultural ties.

Expansion and Vision 2030

Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin Sultan, governor of the Northern Borders Region, oversaw the launch event, attended by senior officials, Egypt’s Nile Air representatives, and various government agencies. This development supports Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 goals, which include boosting the Kingdom's flight route capacity and attracting over 150 million visitors by 2030.

Expanding Infrastructure

The company operates major airports like AlUla International, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Airport in Jazan, and King Saud bin Abdulaziz Airport in Al-Bahah. This growth is part of its strategy to enhance network sustainability, boost tourism, and improve operational efficiency.
