Umrah Pilgrims Requested to Avoid Crowding and Photography

The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has requested Umrah pilgrims to avoid crowding and taking pictures during tawaf (circumambulation around the Kaaba) at the Grand Mosque in Makkah.

Pilgrims were also requested to avoid raising their voices and to avoid jostling while performing tawaf.

The authority also explained that the pilgrims can kiss the Black Stone only when the area around the Kaaba is not overcrowded.

Pilgrims were also advised to offer voluntary prayer after tawaf at any place in the Grand Mosque.

Umrah pilgrims are advised to adhere to the guidelines for the rituals required for Umrah and if they are confused about anything, they can clear their doubts at the fatwa offices throughout the Grand Mosque.

The general authority stressed adherence to these guidelines to ensure the safety and comfort of pilgrims during Umrah.
