Umrah Insurance Offers Foreign Pilgrims Coverage up to SR100,000

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has outlined that the Umrah insurance policy for international pilgrims provides coverage for four specific cases, with a limit of SR100,000.

The Ministry stated that the Umrah insurance policy is a mandatory document for all pilgrims traveling from outside Saudi Arabia and is incorporated within the visa fees. This policy offers extensive coverage to its holders.

The coverage provided by the Umrah insurance policy includes four categories: emergency health cases, emergency COVID-19-related incidents, general accidents, and fatalities, as well as compensation for canceled or delayed departing flights.

Benefits from the mandatory Umrah insurance policy for pilgrims from outside the Kingdom are up to SR100,000, the Ministry stated.
