A Ramen and Anime Festival is Coming to Jeddah on This Date

Jeddah's Little Asia Zone will host a Ramen and Anime Festival from Wednesday, Dec. 13 to Sunday, Dec. 17.

Saudi Arabia's Culinary Arts Commission will launch this festival with the support of the Quality of Life Program.

The festival is part of the Jeddah Event Calendar 2023, providing visitors a chance to explore various aspects of East Asian cultures. 

Events at the Ramen and Anime Festival

Anime lovers will get a chance to buy souvenirs inspired by their favorite anime characters

The festival will also allow visitors to taste various traditional dishes and learn the culinary art behind preparing these dishes through 15 workshops by elite local chefs. 

One zone of the festival will feature 15 daily performances inspired by East Asian shows and anime movies. 

Children will also have the time of their lives at the festival with various fun activities such as learning to make sushi with clay, write Japanese calligraphy in sand, and construct paper lanterns. 

As the festival's name indicates, an outdoor cinema at the venue will screen anime movies every day.

Other festivities include a group of roaming performers, dressed as anime characters and entertaining visitors.
