Red Sea Int'l Film Festival to Open with Saudi Fantasy Film 'Hwjn'

The Red Sea International Film Festival will open with the Saudi fantasy romance feature 'Hwjn', which is based on Saudi Arabia's bestselling fantasy romance novel of the same name.

The film is set in Jeddah and follows the story of a kind-hearted jinn who develops an unexpected connection with a medical student named Sawsan.

The film is directed by Iraqi director Yasir Alyasiri.

'Hwjn' features a predominantly Saudi cast including actors Baraa Alem, Nour Alkhadra, Nayef Althifery, Alanoud Saud and Mohsen Mansour.

The film is produced under a landmark partnership between Image Nation Abu Dhabi, Vox Studios, and MBC Studios.

The film is based on a novel written by Ibraheem Abbas, which was first released in 2013 and became an instant hit!

The teaser of the film was showcased at the film festival's previous edition. 

The Red Sea International Film Festival will open on Nov. 30, so don't miss out on the screening of 'Hwjn'!
