According to the Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman, it is officially announced that Iran will reopen its diplomatic missions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia again this week.

This decision came after several months when Tehran and Riyadh agreed to end years of opposition.

Last March, Iran and Saudi Arabia made an agreement to reestablish relations between the regional rivals whose hostility had threatened stability and security in the Middle East and helped fuel regional conflicts from Yemen to Syria.
