Another big name is heading to the Saudi Pro League! Joao Felix, once football’s golden boy, has officially joined Al Nassr, where he’ll play alongside none other than Cristiano Ronaldo.

The 25-year-old Portuguese forward signed a two-year contract, confirmed by the club on Tuesday. A follow-up post hinted the deal might actually run until 2027.

“Let’s Win Together,” Says Felix

In a short video posted on Al Nassr’s official X account, Felix kept it simple:

“I’m here to spread joy. Let’s win together.”

A Promising Career That’s Still Searching for Spark

Felix made waves in 2019 when he left Benfica for Atlético Madrid in a deal worth €127.7 million—one of the biggest transfers in football history.

Since then, he’s had stints at Chelsea, Barcelona, and AC Milan, but never quite lived up to the hype. His scoring record hasn’t crossed the 10-goal mark in a single season since Benfica, and loan spells haven’t helped him regain form.

Could Saudi Arabia be where he finally finds his groove again? We’ll be watching.
