The 25-year-old transferred from Juventus to Atalanta in 2022, and while the teams would not disclose the transfer cost, Italian media said that it was €20 million.

“A new warrior in our squad” Al Ahli posted on messaging platform X, previously known as Twitter.

After Riyad Mahrez, Roberto Firmino, goalkeeper Edouard Mendy, Alain Saint-Maximin, Franck Kessie, and Roger Ibanez, Demiral joins Al Ahli as the team's most recent signing.
