The General Directorate of Civil Defense is cautioning the public to be vigilant as Saudi Arabia braces for continued rain and thunderstorms until Sunday.

They advise avoiding flood-prone areas, refraining from swimming in open water and adhering to guidance from officials conveyed through media outlets.
According to reports from the Saudi Press Agency, moderate to heavy rainfall is anticipated in regions including Asir, Jazan, Qassim, the Eastern Province, Madinah, Hail, and the Northern Borders. These areas may also experience torrential rain, hail, and strong winds stirring up dust and dirt.
Similar weather patterns are expected in Taif, Adham, Maysan, Al-Ardiyat, Al-Baha, Tabuk, and Madinah. In the Makkah region, moderate rainfall and active downward winds are anticipated, resulting in dusty conditions. The Riyadh region, including the capital and surrounding areas, is likely to see light to moderate rain, along with parts of Al-Jawf and the Eastern Province.
Authorities emphasize the importance of staying informed about weather updates and heeding safety precautions during this period of inclement weather.
