The Supreme Court has asked individuals who spot the crescent moon, either by the naked eye or binoculars, to report it to the nearest court and provide testimony. Alternatively, they can reach out to the appropriate authorities for guidance.

If the crescent moon is spotted on that night, it means that Eid Al Fitr will start on Friday, April 21st.

However, if the moon is not spotted that night, then the first day of Eid will fall on Saturday, April 22nd.

Ramadan is expected to last for 29 days in 2023, according to astronomical calculations.
