Netflix to Release the Second Season of 'New Saudi Voices'

Cinephiles in Saudi Arabia will be pleased to know that the streaming service Netflix will release a second volume of short films for the 'New Saudi Voices 2' collection.

The collection will feature 13 short films from Saudi directors and films will span the genres of drama, fantasy, and romance. 

The 'New Saudi Voices 2' will be available on Netflix on Oct. 6, Friday.

The collection's films were picked out from the Red Sea International Film Festival and include two winners from the 48-Hour Filmmaking Challenge, which are 'When Red Blooms' and 'The Child in His Closet'.

Other films that will be shown as part of the collection are 'Lucky You're Mine', 'Yallah, Yallah Beenah', 'Old Phoen Number', 'Requiem for Silence', 'Zabarjad',  and 'Forward'.

The collection will also include 'Last Chance to Fall', 'A Swing', 'Othman', 'Tea Leaf', 'VHS Tape Replace', and 'The Jakar'.
