Riyadh's Gamers8 Festival Will Return with a Prize of $30 Million

The world's biggest gaming event Gamers8 Festival will return to Riyadh on July 6th with a world-record prize of $30 million, which is double the prize of $15 million in the 2022 edition.

Saudi Arabia Esports Federation will organize the event at a purpose-built venue in Riyadh Boulevard City. This year's festival is titled "Gamers8: The Land of Heroes" and will span over eight weeks, and includes different activities and events like esports gaming, live music, community gaming, and education platforms.

"The Land of Heroes is the place for world-class esports champions and gaming universe lovers. It is the ultimate occasion where you can compete for glory and become a hero walking among the worlds of your chosen story," Chairman of the Saudi Esports Federation Prince Faisal bin Bandar said of the festival.

Last year's Gamers8 Festival was attended by 1.4 million visitors, 392 gaming professionals, and 113 international teams. The success of the previous year's Gamers8 Festival raises the stakes for this year's event.

Like the 2022 edition, the 2023 festival will conclude with the Next World Global Forum, which brings together the gaming industry's leaders, global players, and investors for various activities including workshops and panel discussions for future developments in the gaming industry.
