Saudi Arabia Has Called Muslims to Sight the Eid Al Adha 2023 Moon

The crescent moon, which may predict the dates for Eid Al Adha in 2023, has been urged to be sighted by Muslims in Saudi Arabia.

It's anticipated that on Sunday, the crescent moon will be visible, marking the beginning of the month of Dhul Hijjah.

The Supreme Council of the Kingdom advised everyone who saw the crescent moon to get in touch with the right authority at their local agency.

“The Supreme Court hopes that whoever has the ability to show interest in this matter, join the committees formed in the regions for this purpose,” as per The Saudi Press Agency report.

The date of the Kingdom's holidays and the duration of the break for businesses and workplaces countrywide will depend on the moon's sighting.

The Arafat and Eid holidays will start on Tuesday, June 27th, if the crescent moon is sighted on Sunday, June 18th.

If, however, the moon cannot be seen, the Arafat Day and Eid holidays will start on June 28th.
