KSA Releases Eid Holiday Guidelines with a 4-Day Break

Saudi Arabia has introduced guidelines for the minimum and maximum durations of official Eid holidays, following a Cabinet session chaired by King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud.

The decision mandates that government institutions observe a minimum of four working days of holiday for both Eid Al Fitr and Eid Al Adha in the Kingdom.

A maximum of five days of holiday is also set for both occasions. The directive applies to government entities adhering to labor laws, requiring them to amend administrative regulations to accommodate the specified holiday durations.

The announcement was made during the cabinet session held on January 16th under the guidance of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in Riyadh.

The move aims to standardize the holiday period across government institutions and ensure compliance with labor regulations.
