Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and Qatar Condemn Iranian Aggressions

Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and Qatar affirmed that the continued wrongful Iranian attacks on Gulf countries and Jordan, targeting vital and civilian facilities, constitute a dangerous escalation that threatens the region's security and stability, during the first Gulf-Arab summit since the intensification of the Middle East war that began on February 28.

Trilateral Meeting in Jeddah

This was stated in a trilateral meeting held in Jeddah, western Saudi Arabia, today, bringing together Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Prime Minister, King Abdullah II of Jordan, and Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad, Emir of Qatar.

The trilateral meeting discussed the latest regional developments, the implications of the military escalation in the region, its risks to international navigation freedom and energy supply security, its impact on the global economy, and the coordination of joint efforts to enhance regional security and stability.

Condemnation of Iranian Aggressions

In the same context, King Abdullah II of Jordan and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, reiterated their condemnation of the continued Iranian attacks on Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and several Arab countries. Meanwhile, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad, Emir of Qatar, stated on his "X" account: "I discussed with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman developments in the region and the escalations impacting security and stability regionally and internationally. We emphasized the need to coordinate efforts and strengthen joint action to support peaceful solutions and mitigate the repercussions of this phase."
The "Saudi-Qatari-Jordanian Summit" was held amidst ongoing Iranian aggressions against Gulf countries and Jordan, in what Tehran claims are attacks on American interests in the region, in response to the current U.S. campaign targeting the Iranian regime, with Washington predicting the conflict could last for several more weeks.

Regional and Global Coordination Efforts

Gulf countries and Jordan are coordinating with Arab and global capitals to intensify condemnation of Iranian aggressions. Meanwhile, the ministerial meeting called on Arab states to demand that Iran provide full, effective, and immediate compensation to all victims for damages and losses, renewing its rejection of Iran's continued funding, arming, and mobilizing of militias in several Arab countries. It also praised the Lebanese government's decision to limit unauthorized weapons.
