Saudi Predicted to Have Low Temperature and Rainfall Until Sunday

The National Center of Meteorology(NCM) forecasts that most of Saudi Arabia will experience a drop in temperature and moderate to heavy rain from Wednesday through Sunday.

The center's most recent report included information on the forecasted weather across the Kingdom for the upcoming few days. Most of the Kingdom is forecast to continue to experience rain until Sunday, January 15, while Makkah, Asir, Al-Baha, and Jazan are likely to have medium to heavy rain that could turn into torrential rains.

In addition, thunderstorms are predicted for Makkah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province on Thursday and Friday. From Friday through Sunday, light to moderate rain is forecasted for Qassim, Hail, the Northern Borders region, Al-Jouf, Tabuk, and Madinah. 

Saudi Predicted to Have Low Temperature and Rainfall Until Sunday

According to the NCM, temperatures are predicted to fall between one and five degrees Celsius from Wednesday am until Friday morning in the regions of Tabuk, Al-Jouf, the Northern Border region, Hail, and the north of Madinah, with a chance of frost formation. 

Temperatures in these areas would be between four and seven degrees Celsius, according to the center, because this drop in mercury will also affect Qassim, Riyadh, and the northern part of the Eastern Province.
