Thunderstorms to Hit Most Saudi Regions Until Thursday

The Saudi Civil Defense urged the public to be extremely cautious, as thunderstorms are expected to hit most regions of Saudi Arabia from Sunday to Thursday.

Moderate to heavy rains are expected in several regions of Saudi Arabia, including Taif, Maysan, Adham, and Al-Ardiyat in the Makkah region, as well as the regions of Asir, Jazan, and Al-Baha. These rains may lead to torrential rains, hail, and sandstorms.

Light to moderate rains accompanied by dust storms are expected in the Makkah region, including the city of Makkah, Al-Jamoum, Al-Kamil, Qunfudhah, and Allaith, as well as in the regions of Najran, Al-Baha, Madinah, and Asir.

The Saudi Civil Defense urged the public to stay safe and avoid areas where there is a risk of flooding, such as valleys and water swamps. The public should also avoid swimming in water swamps, as they are dangerous. The public is also advised to follow the instructions announced by the Civil Defense through the media and social media.
