Saudi Arabia's National Center of Meteorology (NCM) expected that the country will experience rain more than its normal rate in most regions during the holy month of Ramadan.

The possibility of rain rises higher than the average in the regions of Riyadh, Hail, Qassim, Al-Jouf, parts of the regions of Makkah, Asir, and Jazan during the first week of Ramadan.

However, the average rain is expected in parts of the Eastern Province and the Riyadh region during the rest of the whole month.

The report warned of the possibility of extreme climatic conditions such as heat waves during the month, which are expected to occur especially in the northeastern regions of the Kingdom.

The center expected a higher-than-average rise in temperature in the holy month in the regions of Tabuk and Al-Jouf.

Ramadan is expected to start on March 23rd and end on April 21st. The dates are subject to change on the basis of moon sightings.
