3 Arrested for Invading Football Pitch in Riyadh

Three people have been arrested due to entering the pitch of the stadium, according to the official spokesperson of the Riyadh police in coordination with the Ministry of Sports.

The legal measures were taken against the three people, and then they were sent to the Public Prosecution, the official spokesperson confirmed.

A video clip has gone viral as it spread online, showing three people running onto the playing field of Alawwal Park stadium during the match between Al Nassr and Al Taawoun. The incident occurred as part of the events within the second round of the Saudi Professional League held on Friday.

Following the incident, an official source in Saudi Arabia's Public Prosecution has addressed the importance of sports fans to follow and adhere to the rules and regulations during sports matches.

The public must not cause disturbances during the game, in addition to not committing any violating behavior. The official source urged all fans to abide by the rules and not to violate instructions or commit anything that would distort events in general and sports events in particular.
