The public bus transport service in Taif is the first project to be launched in the first phase of the public bus transport projects in the Kingdom. It is expected to serve more than 2 million people each year through nine main routes that connect the most important centers and landmarks in the governorate.

The public bus transport service in Taif will have 182 bus stop points and 58 buses that will operate for 18 hours a day. This will help to improve the travel experience of residents and visitors to the governorate, as well as reduce traffic congestion, carbon emissions, and environmental pollution.

The operating company, SAPTCO, has launched an electronic application called TAIF BUSES that allows customers to book the public bus transport service easily and conveniently. The project also includes waiting stations and bus stops, each of which has seating for waiting passengers, signboards, a passenger waiting area, bus stopping points, and pedestrian crossing paths.
