Saudi Arabia’s NEOM Announces Second Edition of Global Beach Games

The second edition of the NEOM Beach Games has been launched by NEOM in Saudi Arabia.

More than 800 competitors from all over the world will compete in a schedule of sporting events at the games.

The Super League Triathlon NEOM, the NEOM Beach Soccer Cup, the NEOM FIBA 33 Challenger 2023, the NEOM Titan Desert Saudi Arabia, and the NEOM IFSC (International Federation of Sport Climbing) Masters are among the five dynamic sports that will be included in the series of sporting events that start on October 21st.

The NEOM Beach Soccer Cup will be played after the grand finals of the NEOM short-course Super League Triathlon on October 21st.

Following that will be a three-day global NEOM FIBA 33 Challenger basketball tournament.

On November 14th, the NEOM Titan Desert Saudi Arabia desert mountain bike race will make its second trip back to the area with 230 male and female competitors in a four-stage competition encompassing 80-120 kilometers per stage.

The NEOM IFSC Masters, an international sport climbing competition comprising Olympians and world champions, will take place from November 22nd to 24th to conclude the competition.

“The inclusion of the International Federation of Sport Climbing in this year’s games is exciting, aligning with our goals to build a high-performance culture and inspire the next generations of athletes across the Kingdom,” Jan Paterson, Managing Director of Sport at NEOM said.

The NEOM Beach Games Volunteers Program will also be debuted at this year's event, with 50 members of the NEOM community helping to make sure that everyone who attends and competes has a seamless and pleasurable day.

The program is open to individuals aged 18 years and above.
