Saudi Arabia Launches First Music Diploma Course

The Music Home School of Art in Riyadh will offer the nation's first music diploma degree, which has received approval from Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Culture.

Traditional instruments like the oud, duff, rebab, and mizmar are frequently heard at celebrations in the Kingdom and play a significant role in the music scene there.

The two-year, top-notch diploma program, will begin in September. It would help promote the universal language of music, which aids in bridging cultural gaps.

Education and performance are covered in the course, and graduates would be qualified to work as instructors or professionals.

The diploma course is one of several initiatives undertaken recently by the ministry to develop the music industry in the country.
