Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman announced that the Al-Wahah and Salahiddine neighborhoods in Riyadh will be merged under the name of the King Salman neighborhood.

The Crown Prince also announced further development of the neighborhood under the new naming that also aims to boost the quality of services provided and offer more entertainment activities in the area.

This move comes in recognition of the efforts of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to develop Riyadh during his tenure. 

The neighborhood development is in line with the objectives of the Saudi Vision 2030.

The naming and development of these neighborhoods come as part of the ongoing projects to upgrade the Saudi capital city in order to make it one of the most important economic and tourism destinations.

Located in the center of Riyadh and near the King Salman Park, the King Salman neighborhood spans an area of 6.6 square kilometers.

The Salmani architecture will be the major hallmark of the public facilities in this neighborhood, which aims at giving the place a special identity. It is an architectural concept that embodies originality and modernity.
