The Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF) and FIFA shared in a joint statement on Monday that the FIFA Club World Cup will take place in Jeddah from Dec. 12 to Dec. 22, 2023.

The tournament will be held in the Kingdom for the first time. The announcement of Saudi Arabia hosting this tournament was made in February 2023 and now it has been decided that Jeddah will be the location for this World Cup.
The FIFA delegation visit included inspections of the city's infrastructure including the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium and the Prince Abdullah Al Faisal Stadium.
The inspections were also conducted of the proposed training and accommodation facilities.
