Previous Smuggling Cases of Narcotics

There have been various cases of drug smuggling that Saudi officials have halted in the past few months.

In November 2023, Saudi officials arrested four expatriates for selling various kinds of narcotics including 60,000 amphetamine pills.

Another case in July 2023 involved 130,635 Captagon pills being smuggled in cheese boxes.

These constant attempts at drug smuggling emphasize that civilians in Saudi Arabia need to be cautious and report any suspicious behavior.
