The Saudi show jumping team, which took first position in the Group G qualifications at the Doha International Show Jumping Championship, which officially began here on Monday, has qualified for the Paris Olympics 2024.

Saudi Arabia has a dynamic squad that has recently been strengthened by the addition of prominent, high-profile horses. Saudi Arabia has a long history in equestrian jumping and earned team bronze at the 2012 Olympics in London.

Abdulrahman Alrajhi (riding Babalou HD), Khaled Almobty (riding Equine America Spacecake), Ramzy Al Duhami (riding Untouchable), and Abdullah Alsharbatly (riding Alamo) of Saudi Arabia won the qualifiers with time totals of 235.31 in round 1 with nine penalties and 237.81 with six penalties in round 2.

Ramzy al-Duhami, the 2012 Olympic medallist, said, "We were not lucky in the first round but we changed the course in the next. I am happy to have this opportunity again with an excellent and talented team, as we have riders at the highest level.”

In addition to France, Sweden, the Netherlands, Great Britain, Ireland, Germany, and Belgium, the team has now joined the other seven that have previously qualified for Paris 2024.
