The guideline stated that Eid prayers should be held 15 minutes after sunrise, which means that on June 28th, 2023, the Eid Al-Adha prayer will be held at around 5:30 a.m.

According to the minister, mosques or other places of worship where worshipers do not go during the Eid prayer in some urban and rural areas are exempt from this directive. Instead, they go to regular prayer sites.

It is noteworthy that the Umm Al-Qura calendar's Monday, 1/12/1444 AH, or the 19th of June 2023 AD, according to Saudi Arabia's Supreme Court, marks the start of the Dhul-Hijjah month, according to a statement made on Sunday. Tuesday, June 27th, will be Arafat Day, and Wednesday, June 28th, will be Eid Al-Adha.

The Eid Al-Adha holidays for the private and nonprofit sectors will start on Tuesday, the Day of Standing in Arafat on the 9th of Dhul-Hijjah, or June 27th, and will end on Friday, 12 Dhul-Hijjah, or June 30th, the Ministry announced in a statement on its social media account.
