Saudi Arabia's King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has appointed Prince Salman bin Sultan as the new Emir of Madinah, according to the royal decrees released on Tuesday, Dec. 12.

Prince Saud bin Mishaal was appointed as the deputy governor of Makkah.

Furthermore, Prince Khaled bin Saud has become the new deputy governor of the Tabuk region, while Prince Khalid bin Sattam is now the deputy governor of the Asir region.

Prince Miteb bin Mishal is the new deputy governor of the Al-Jawf region. 

Various other new officials were appointed and King Salman has directed the relevant authorities to implement his new orders.
