beIN to Air Messi-Ronaldo Matchup on January 19

Qatari state-owned global sport and entertainment network beIN has announced that its flagship channel, beIN SPORTS, will telecast the highly-anticipated Cristiano Ronaldo vs. Lionel Messi matchup that is scheduled to take place on Thursday, January 19. 

beIN SPORTS has acquired the rights to televise the Riyadh Season Cup in the Middle East and North Africa, France, Turkey, Asia, North America, and Australasia.

The match is scheduled to take place in Saudi Arabia's King Fahd International Stadium grows.

Top Saudi clubs Al Hilal and Al-Nassr will field players against the French champions Paris Saint-Germain (PSG). Recent Al-Nassr signing Ronaldo will face off against his long-time rival, Messi. 

Ronaldo and Messi have not clashed since December 2020 when Juventus beat Barcelona 3-0. Ronaldo was playing for Juventus, while Messi was playing for Barcelona back then.
