All About the Luxury Train Service 'Dream of the Desert'!

Saudi Arabia has revealed plans to introduce the 'Dream of the Desert' luxury train service, a pioneering venture in the Middle East and North Africa.

Collaborating with the Italian Arsenale Group, specialists in upscale train journeys, Saudi Arabia Railways (SAR) aims to enhance the kingdom's transportation options.

The 40-cabin luxury train is set to be available for bookings by late 2024, with actual operations commencing in the fourth quarter of 2025. The inaugural journeys will originate from Riyadh's North Train Station, passing through Hail and concluding at Al Qurayyat train station.

Engineer Saleh bin Nasser Al Jasser, Saudi Minister of Transport and Logistic Services and SAR Chairman highlighted the initiative's alignment with the National Strategy for Transport and Logistics. Emphasizing the improvement of the quality of life and support for key national strategies, Al Jasser underscored the significant backing from the country's leadership for the transport and logistics sector. Commending cooperation among stakeholders, he emphasized the sector's ability to execute projects, provide services, and drive development initiatives.
