Kiswah, the New Kaabah Cover for Hijri Year 1445 is Almost Ready

The Holy Kaabah's King Abdulaziz Complex has been manufacturing The Kaabah cloth cover (Kiswah) for the upcoming Hijri year 1445 and it has almost been completed.

The Kiswa, or black cloth that covers the Holy Kaaba, has always been cared after by the Presidency using the finest essential oils and silks.

By using operational strategies, the complex, which is a part of the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque, recently manufactured Kiswah.

To ensure that Kiswah is manufactured on time and installed atop the revered Kaabah on the eve of Muharram, the first month of the Hijri calendar, the complex has been preparing to wrap up the manufacturing process.

According to Amjad bin Ayed Al-Hazmi, the King Abdulaziz Complex's Under Secretary General, the Holy Kaabah Kiswah was sewed to the finest standards and specifications.

He added that this endeavor, which is the result of a full year of intense work and dedication, is in line with the Kingdom's and its leadership's desire to respect the holy Kaabah.

Sultan Al-Qurashi, the Assistant to the President General for the King Abdulaziz Complex's exhibitions at the Holy Kaabah Kiswah and other engineering, technical, and operational matters, reaffirmed the value and support that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH the Crown Prince place on the Kaabah, the Two Holy Mosques, and their visitors.
