Qiddiya Unveils State-of-the-Art Speed Track

Saudi Arabia's Qiddiya, renowned for its groundbreaking developments, including Red Sea Global and NEOM, is set to revolutionize motorsport with its latest unveiling – the Qiddiya speed track.

Situated within the ambitious Qiddiya City, the newly announced speed track is poised to become a global hub for top-tier motorsport events.

Designed to host prestigious international championships, the track boasts cutting-edge features synonymous with renowned racing circuits worldwide.

Abdullah Aldawood, Managing Director of Qiddiya Investment Company, expressed, “The Speed Park Track will be a true embodiment of Qiddiya’s power of play philosophy and position Qiddiya City as the home of Saudi motorsport and one of the world’s leading motorsport venues.”

Crafted by former Formula One driver Alex Wurz and renowned German circuit designer Hermann Tilke, the track promises an exhilarating experience, with 21 corners intricately integrated into Qiddiya City’s captivating landscape, offering over 108 meters of elevation change per lap.

At the heart of the circuit lies its pièce de résistance – the Blade at turn one, a gravity-defying elevated section towering over 20 stories above ground level. Notably, this section will soar above a music venue below and run alongside Falcon’s flight, the world’s tallest rollercoaster situated at the adjacent Six Flags Qiddiya City.

Featuring multiple configurations, including a dynamic street circuit section and a high-speed open track segment, the Speed Park Track seamlessly integrates with Qiddiya’s neighboring attractions, promising a thrilling experience for motorsport enthusiasts worldwide.
