Saudi Arabia Will Officially Host the 16th Arab Games in 2027

Saudi Arabia's Minister of Sports and President of the Union of Arab National Olympic Committees, Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, welcomed Arab delegations competing in the 16th Arab Games, which the Kingdom will host in 2027, according to Saudi Press Agency.

The minister stated that King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman have their full support in his statement at the 15th session's concluding ceremony.

He commended Algeria for providing the Arab Games with gracious hospitality and attention this year.

After competing in 17 games, including 14 Olympic and 3 Paralympic ones, Saudi teams finished their participation at the 15th Arab Games in Algeria with 47 medals, breaking the previous mark from the 2011 competition in Doha (45 medals).
