Saudi Teacher Breaks Record for the Largest Mural Made of Bottle Caps

A Saudi teacher has officially entered the Guinness World Record for creating the longest mosaic wall art using plastic bottle caps.

Khulood Al-Fadli is an environmental activist that decided to make the mural in honor of symbolizing a greener Saudi Arabia.

The mural features beautiful buildings of Saudi Arabia, trees, hills, the Saudi flag, emblems, and the Two Holy Mosques in Makkah and Madinah.

The 383 square-meter mural was made up of 500,000 plastic bottle caps. It took her about eight months to finish it. She was joined by her students from Green Leaves School.

You can find the mosaic wall art on the Jeddah corniche.
