Zayn Malik Joins Pakistani Trio AUR on Remix of 'Tu Hai Kahan'

Former One Direction heartthrob and solo sensation Zayn Malik has added a touch of Bollywood flair to his repertoire with a Hindi rendition of the 2023 chart-topper "Tu Hai Kahan" by Pakistani trio AUR. Released on Friday, January 12th, the revamped version features Zayn lending his soulful vocals to the enchanting ballad's chorus.

Expressing his humility and excitement about the collaboration, Zayn shared, “I was incredibly humbled when AUR reached out and asked me to collaborate on their song ‘Tu Hai Kahan.' I love the song and have brought some of myself to it. I hope people love what we’ve done.”

The original version of "Tu Hai Kahan" had garnered immense success, accumulating hundreds of millions of streams and securing the top spot on Spotify in India, Pakistan, and the Global Viral charts in 2023.

Accompanying the release is a visually captivating music video, juxtaposing footage of AUR in the studio with scenes of Zayn recording his vocals in a separate booth. The collaboration underscores the idea that music transcends boundaries, bringing together diverse talents from different corners of the world.

Group members Ahad, Usama, and Raffey from AUR expressed their enthusiasm for the collaboration, stating, “We are super excited for this collaboration as it shows that music has no boundaries. The release is a collaborative effort between U.S.-based indie D36 and Sony Music Entertainment, Middle East. This marks Zayn's first musical venture since his standalone single "Love Like This" last summer, following his 2021 album "Nobody Is Listening."
