11th Jeddah International Travel & Tourism Exhibition Kicks Off

The 11th edition of the Jeddah International Travel and Tourism Exhibition kicked off on Sunday, February 19th, at the Jeddah Superdome, to introduce Saudi Arabia's huge tourism potential.

The event -- which is held under the patronage of Jeddah Governor Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Jalawi and attracts extensive global attention -- will run until Tuesday, February 21st.

More than 200 local and international exhibitors representing different tourism agencies, private sector companies, airlines, hotels, and resorts are participating in the event this year.

The event showcases Saudi tourist destinations, offers chances for business and joint investments, and connects participating agencies with Saudi Arabia's travel market.

"This year's edition will be focusing on … paving the way for partnerships and contracts between the participants from inside Saudi Arabia and beyond," Maya Helfawi, head of the exhibition's organizing committee, said.

The last edition of the exhibition was held in 2020 and attracted more than 29,000 visitors as well as 172 exhibitors from 27 countries.
