AlUla's First Desert Blaze Summer Run to Take Place on This Day

The very first AlUla Desert Blaze is happening on Saturday, August 26th, in the historic city.

AlUla will commence what has to be the ultimate racing event where regional and global athletes will be taking part in the endurance race.

This remarkable event combines the spirit of adventure with the thrill of competition, offering participants an unforgettable experience over distances of 5km, 10km, 21km and 42km.

The races will take place on asphalt roads or compact sand roads, with no trails, scrambling or mountaineering involved.

Participants will be running through the stunning AlUla landscapes in soaring temperatures of the desert. 

Winners will be able to take home cash prizes worth SAR110,000 ($30,000).
