Abdulaziz bin Fahed bin Ghazayh al-Harethi and his sister Ohoud were sentenced to death after being found guilty of poisoning their last meal with sleeping pills in an effort to kill their mother and their brothers, Abdulrahman and Abdullah.

The next day, they shot the mother and Abdulrahman to death while they slept, and they shot Abdullah as he was sitting inside the house, according to a statement from the ministry posted on its website.

After carrying out their murder, al-Harethi and his sister carried the remains to a rest stop that belongs to them, where they then shot their father after luring him there. The ministry continued by saying that they deliberately caused a gas leak and set fire to the building with the bodies inside.

The competent court sentenced the siblings to death, and both the Appeal Court and Supreme Court approved the verdict. The siblings were then sent to the relevant court.
