Saudi Arabia has concluded evacuating its own citizens as well as those of allied and friendly nations who were in Sudan as part of the humanitarian efforts.

8,455 individuals, which includes 404 Saudis as well as individuals from 110 other countries, were evacuated by Saudi-flagged ships and the Royal Saudi Air Force. Additionally, the Kingdom provided assistance to numerous nations in the evacuation of 11,184 individuals from Sudan.

Throughout the evacuation process and their stay in Saudi territory up to their departure, the Kingdom gave the evacuees complete care and follow-up support.

The Saudi government thanked and appreciated the brothers in Sudan for helping to make the evacuations possible, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The UN's migration agency reported that the violence has also forced hundreds of thousands of people to leave their homes, with the number of those internally displaced within Sudan doubling in a week to more than 700,000.
