The work ban will start from 12 pm to 3 pm for a period of three months until Friday, September 15th.
It applies for all private sector companies and establishments that work in the open under direct sunlight.
The ministry will impose work ban, in coordination with the National Council for Occupational Safety and Health, in order to preserve the safety and health of workers in the private sector.
The decision compels private sector enterprises to provide their workers a healthy and safe work environment and spare them from any risks and harm.
The UAE and Oman have previously announced a similar work ban at outdoor places for three months as well.
