Six Flags Qiddiya City, Saudi’s Biggest Theme Park Yet, Reveals Opening Date

Saudi Arabia just confirmed it: Six Flags Qiddiya City is officially opening on Wednesday, December 31, 2025. And yes — it’s huge. At 320,000 square metres, the park is bigger than all other Six Flags parks worldwide and sits right by the Tuwaiq Mountain Range.

What to Expect Inside

This mega-park packs 28 rides, including five world-record breakers, plus tons of games, family attractions, and six fully themed worlds designed to feel like you’ve stepped into an adventure film.

The Record-Breaking Rides

Six Flags Qiddiya City will debut the world’s:

  • Fastest, longest, tallest coaster: Falcons Flight, hitting 250 km/h

  • Tallest pendulum ride: Gyrospin at 53 metres

  • Tallest tilt coaster: Iron Rattler at 63.4 metres

  • Tallest free-standing shot tower: Sirocco Tower at 145 metres

  • Triple-launch coaster: Spitfire, soaring up to 73 metres at 127 km/h

These are designed for the fearless — or the friends who pretend to be fearless.

The Six Worlds

Each world comes with its own storyline, theme, and matching rides, food spots, and shops.

  • City of Thrills: The big-league coasters live here — including Falcons Flight and Sirocco Tower.

  • Discovery Springs: Water adventures, chill zones, and aquatic fun for families.

  • Grand Exposition: History meets tech with world-fair vibes, exhibits, and Gyrospin.

  • Steam Town: A quirky, gears-and-gadgets world led by Professor Screamore, home of Iron Rattler.

  • Twilight Gardens: The perfect stop for kids who want magic, colour, and endless play.

  • Valley of Fortune: Think ancient secrets, rugged jeep rides, and sky-high adventures.
