VIA Riyadh Inaugurated in Private Ceremony

VIA Riyadh, a high-end hospitality project consisting of a food & beverage area and luxury shops, was inaugurated on Tuesday evening, January 31st, in a private ceremony before it opens its door to visitors in mid-February.

The opening ceremony, which was attended by General Entertainment Authority (GEA) chairman, Turki Alalshikh, and Tourism Minister Ahmed Al-Khateeb, comprised a huge fireworks display.

VIA Riyadh, one of the most anticipated Riyadh Season zones, includes St. Regis hotel, a cinema, cafes, fine dining restaurants such as Gymkhana and Spago, and an international food market.

Located near the Diplomatic Quarter, the zone also includes fashion designers' brand stores, including those of Brandon Maxwell and Elie Saab.

The construction of VIA Riyadh took around 20 months.

The newly inaugurated zone is one of the Riyadh Season's 15 zones that have been launched gradually since October 2022. The 15 zones include the Boulevard Riyadh City, Boulevard World, Sky Riyadh, Winter Wonderland, and Riyadh Zoo.
