Riyadh Buses Project Announces the Working Hours during Ramadan

The Riyadh buses' project operating hours during Ramadan have been revealed, starting effectively from  7:30 a.m. until 3:30 a.m.

Earlier, the Royal Commission for Riyadh City announced the first phase of the launching of the Riyadh buses service. This comes in line with the King Abdulaziz Public Transport Project.

In the initial stage, there will be over 340 buses operating across 633 stations and stopping points in the Riyadh buses network.  The service will include 15 lanes within the Riyadh buses network lanes, which eventually totals 86 lanes.

The Commission announced that the first phase of the project, which is one of the strategic projects designed to fulfill the transportation requirements in the capital, will be rolled out gradually, followed by several other operating phases.

The Riyadh bus service will operate in five stages. The main objective of this project is to significantly enhance the public transport sector and improve the interconnectivity of different parts of Riyadh to enhance the quality of life for both its residents and visitors.

The bus service is aimed at making transportation easier for all members of the community, enabling them to travel to their workplaces, schools, and recreational activities. Additionally, the service will help reduce the reliance on private cars, which, in turn, will reduce traffic congestion in Riyadh.
