Al-Hilal Make World-Record $776 Million Bid for Mbappé

Saudi Arabia’s Al Hilal has submitted a formal bid to Paris Saint-Germain to open talks for Kylian Mbappé, according to reports from Fabrizio Romano.

Fabrizio Romano's reports confirm that Al Hilal, the Saudi Arabian club, has formally submitted a bid to Paris Saint-Germain, expressing their interest in starting negotiations for Kylian Mbappé.

As per the statements by the Italian football journalist, a transfer fee of €300m (which is equivalent to over 1.2 billion Saudi Riyals) is being discussed for Kylian Mbappe's potential move, which would set a new record in the football world.

The reported €300m transfer fee is just for Paris Saint-Germain's valuation for Kylian Mbappe, while the exact amount being offered by Al Hilal to acquire the French superstar is a whopping €776m .

The news comes after PSG’s dropping of Mbappe for a pre-season tour of Japan and South Korea triggered accusations of “moral harassment” by the French Players’ Union (FPU). This recent news comes in line with Al Hilal's bid to initiate negotiations for the player's potential transfer.

Kylian Mbappe's absence from the pre-season tour is noteworthy, particularly because he has chosen not to extend his contract with Paris Saint-Germain. This decision has encouraged the French Players' Union (FPU) to threaten legal action against the club, adding to the ongoing tension surrounding the player's future at PSG.

“These players must enjoy the same working conditions as the rest of the professional workforce,” the FPU stated.
