Ramadan, a month of immense blessings, provides Muslims with an opportunity to engage in good deeds by giving Zakat (charity) to support the poor and people in need, and Saudi Arabia has several charities in different areas where you can donate during the holy month, when good deeds receive extra blessings.

Here is a list of 10 charities in Saudi Arabia:

King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) 

This non-profit organization was established by the King of Saudi Arabia, and works to improve the lives of those suffering worldwide, providing humanitarian relief regardless of borders.

EKHAA Charitable Foundation for Orphan Care

EKHAA was made to support orphans in living healthy, stable lives. It offers services to more than 2,000 orphans after leaving the care system. It has branches in Riyadh, Makkah, Madinah, Jeddah, Dammam, Hail, Qassim, Abha, Shakra and Jizan.

Al Baraka Charitable Society for Social Services

Located at Shati Al Gharbi, Dammam, Al Baraka works to improve the health and social care of people in need of rehabilitation.

Ehsan 

This charitable organization provides aid all over Saudi Arabia. Last Ramadan, it could gather over SAR 1.84 billion worth of donations.

PERSGA

PERSGA, the Regional Organization for the Conservation of the Environment of the Red Sea & Gulf of Aden, has been cleaning up the seas since 1995. You can donate if you're looking to support marine life and preserving nature.

Al Wafa Philanthropic Association

This special charity focuses on mothers and children and to provide child and maternal care to people all over the Kingdom. 

Saudi Alzheimer's Disease Association

A non-profit charity founded to deal with Alzheimer patients in Saudi Arabia. It works with about 150,000 patients across the Kingdom.

Alwaleed bin Talal Foundation

It is a charitable and philanthropic organization founded by Saudi Arabian businessman Al-Waleed bin Talal. To date it has spent over SAR 4 billion on social welfare programs and assistance, and benefits nearly 190 countries globally.

Mawaddah Women's Charity Association

This charity was founded in order for women to stand up for their rights in society. Women who are about to be married or even divorced are given a chance to stabilise their lives.

The Centennial Fund

This charity in Riyadh aims to encourage female Saudi citizens to start up their own businesses through the guidance and facilitation and lending. It works to bridge the gap between male and female unemployment in the region.
