The General Directorate of Passports (Jawazat) resumed on Friday the regular travel procedures between Saudi Arabia and Qatar to pre-World Cup procedures.

Jawazat had made adjustments to travel procedures between the two countries earlier in the year to coincide with the 2022 FIFA World Cup that took place in Qatar in November and December 2022.

With the top football event now over, Jawazat announced that Saudi citizens can travel to Qatar with a passport or national identity, provided that the validity of the travel document must be no less than three months for travel to GCC countries.

The Saudi General Directorate of Passports stressed the importance of protecting travel documents and avoid offering them for mortgage, neglect or placing them in unsafe places.
