Bangladeshi Woman Gives Birth Aboard Domestic Flight in Saudi Arabia

A Bangladeshi woman gave birth to a baby girl while traveling aboard a domestic flight in Saudi Arabia, according to local media.

The woman was on a Saudia plane flying from Tabuk to Jeddah on Friday at a height of 36,000 feet when she experienced birth pangs and asked the crew for help.

The passengers on board included two football teams escorted by doctors, who assisted in the birth until a medical support team at the airport fully handled the case.

The aircraft pilot was guided to land at the nearest gate at the King Abdulaziz International Airport. A medical team, including qualified Saudi female paramedics, was quickly assembled to provide medical assistance.

After ensuring the woman and her baby girl were in stable condition, they were transferred to a local hospital.
