The General Authority for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque is now accepting applications for iftar meal providers at the Grand Mosque in Makkah.

The iftar meal providers can select the meal location online when they submit their application for providing this service.

These meal providers are required to contract with catering companies approved by the Saudi Food and Drug Authority.

Individual meal providers can request two sufras, while charitable organizations can request up to 10 sufras.

The meals, consisting of dates, cakes, pastries, and juice, must adhere to approved packaging regulations, which will be available at a later electronic link.

The Prophet's Mosque will also provide iftar for fasting individuals at the mosque.

The number of iftar meals distributed at the Prohet's Mosque is expected to exceed 8.5 million.

There are also 1,205 water fountains for drinking that have been distributed across the Prophet's Mosque's external courtyard.

Over 45 million individuals will receive Zamzam water services, including the distribution of 2.5 million Zamzam water bottles in the Two Holy Mosques and the distribution of drinking cups at 18,000 Zamzam water coolers throughout the Prophet’s Mosque.

These provisions will help improve the experience of pilgrims and visitors in the two Holy Mosques during the month of Ramadan.
